ACEHSPORT — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scores 21 points and George Hill put two free throws on 12,1 seconds remaining to propel the visitors to the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-110 over the New Orleans Pelicans, Wednesday evening US time or Thursday morning WIB.
Darius Bazley booked 20 points and 12 rebound, while Mike Muscala packs 18 and Hill finishes with 13 points.
Zion Williamson led the Pelicans with 29 points, Brandon Ingram followed with 24 points added 11 rebound, and Lonzo Ball recorded 15 points.
Eric Bledsoe and Nickeil Alexander-Walker each scored 13 points, while Steven Adams made triples with 10 points, 11 rebound and 10 assist.
The Pelicans were up to five points in the first half but Bazley scored 11 the first points of the third quarter.
Ingram ends the run with two free throws, but Al Horford netted a three-pointer and Bazley struck successively to put OKC ahead. 72-61.
Williamson scored four points as New Orleans raced 6-0 but Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 10 points when the Thunder rebuilds the lead up 14 points.
Williamson and Bledsoe scored consecutive bases as the Pelicans cut the deficit to 88-78 at the end of the third quarter.
New Orleans took the first nine points of the fourth quarter but Muscala bounced back with three consecutive three-pointers.
Five points from Alexander-Walker started the pace of points 12-0 which ended with three points. Ball gave New Orleans the lead 99-97. Hill broke the pace with a three-pointer that put OKC back in the lead with four minutes remaining.
A Williamson layup and Adams' three-pointer put the Pelicans back in the lead 104-100. Horford and Gilgeous-Alexander's three-pointers made the score equally strong.
Then Ingram's jumper broke the tie but Gilgeous-Alexander packed up three free throws to make the Thunder superior 109-108 at the last 47sec.
A basketball from Williamson put New Orleans back in front but Hill made it to the decisive free throw before Alexander-Walker missed a three-pointer in the dying seconds.
