Although not practicing together, all Persib players have the task of practicing independently in their respective places of residence.
“We have received daily training reports from the players. We collect the report, then we analyzed them to find out their condition compared to before,” said Robert, quoted from the club's official website, Sunday.
Persib's independent training program in Ramadan adapts to the needs of each player.
Most of the players, especially those who do not fast, practice in the morning, while others who perform fasting can practice before breaking their fast.
“We give them a choice. Can be after or before breaking the fast. Meanwhile, players who are not fasting can undergo training in the morning. Everyone has their own practice time,” Robert explained.
It's not just about training programs, Robert also paid close attention to the players' food intake.
“We also monitor food intake. Every player is different based on body weight and several other factors. They have a choice what to consume in order to gain weight, energy and muscle volume is always maintained,” he said.
Persib Bandung dismiss players from group training activities for more than three weeks after completing the Menpora Cup tournament 2021.
Counted 27 April 2021, training activities with Persib players were closed, and the team plans to come back together 22 Next May.
The players are given the freedom to return to their hometowns, but given homework, namely individual training like the one that had been carried out before the passing of the Menpora Cup, and provide a training video report to the coaching team.
