After beating Juventus 3-0, Pioli says, Milan's struggle is not over.
ACEHFOOTBALL.net - Stefano Pioli wants AC Milan keep their spirits up in the last three matches of the season to meet their target of finishing in the top four of the Italian League standings.
Milan just got a big injection of confidence after beating Juventus 3-0 last weekend, but Pioli insists his squad is aware that the struggle is not over.
The Rossoneri will visit the Olimpico Grande on Wednesday local time (Thursday WIB) against Torino in Matchday 36.
“I don't know how Torino will play, but we want to dictate the match to continue Sunday's fine form,” Pioli said in the pre-match comments reported by Milan's official website, Tuesday (12/5) night.
“We are in a defining phase of the season and must perform with the same passion,” he added.
Pioli reminded that every match presents its own challenges and that he wants Milan to overcome them together as a team.
“Last Sunday's win gave us a great feeling because we beat a strong team and gave us confidence, but we realized it wasn't over yet,” he said.
“We still have three games left and we have to keep our attitude. Every game has its own difficulties, as a team we should tackle it together,” Piola's executioner.
Pioli confirms Milan will not be reinforced by Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the match against Torino after experiencing a slight problem in his knee when he beat Juventus.
Milan are currently in fourth place in the standings by collection 72 points on par with Atalanta and the competition for the top four is still tight.
