Parker considered tested while coaching Fulham, even if the team is relegated.
LONDON — Former Football Association Technical Director, Les Reed predicts Tottenham Hotspur boss, Daniel Levy will not be afraid to point Scott Parker as Tottenham coach. Levy is a Parker fan and has observed the young coach's performance during his time at Fulham.
Parker may have a record of bringing the team he coached relegated from English Premier League this season. But his work at Fulham has been impressive this season. Fulham played pretty well especially the two points they got from Manchester United and Arsenal. Parker also led his team to win over Liverpool.
Big names like Mauricio Pochettino and Antonio Conte have emerged as Parker's competitors in the Lilywhite's coaching chair. But Reed exclusively told Football FanCast that Levy could sign Parker.
“I can see Daniel has faith in Scott Parker,Said Reed, reported from Footballfancast, Thursday (3/6).
Reed confirmed, Levy is a brave figure. Reed sees Levy's opportunity to sign Parker because of how impressive Fulham have been not about the final result in the Premier League. Fulham did start the competition badly.
However, according to Reed, Parker changed it for the better, especially in defense. That's why Reed believes Levy will see Parker's performance in turning the team from adversity. Reed added, recruited Parker positive points because he's a popular coach and he's doing quite well.
Tottenham don't have a permanent coach after Jose Mourinho's sacking. Tottenham is now under interim coach Ryan Mason. Pochettino has been linked with a return despite being recently appointed Paris Saint-Germain coach (PSG). Conte is also widely reported after choosing to end his job as coach of Inter Milan.
