Jakarta () – PSSI ensures that the Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae-yong is prohibited from accompanying his squad against the United Arab Emirates Uni (UEA) on Friday (11/6) in Dubai due to accumulation of yellow cards.
To Jakarta, Thursday, PSSI Media Manager, Bandung Saputra, mentioned that Shin couldn't accompany his foster children on the sidelines, dressing room and not allowed to attend the press conference session after the match.
“It complies with the rules in the 2021 AFC Competition Operations Manual,” said Bandung.
According to Bandung, Shin Tae-yong is actually still able to come at the press conference before the game, Thursday (10/6). But, The South Korean tactician chose to be absent and sent assistant coach Choi In-cheol.
The Indonesian national team will have their last match in Group G of the World Cup Qualifiers 2022 Asia zone against United Arab Emirates (UEA) of Dubai, Friday (11/6) night.
Whatever the result of the match will not affect the position of the Garuda squad in the Group G standings. Evan Dimas and his friends remain the locksmiths because in the previous seven parties they lost six times and drew once.
Previously in the Group G match in Dubai, Indonesia draws 2-2 with Thailand and lost 0-4 from Vietnam.
