LIVERPOOL — Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp is reportedly ready to release several star players during this summer's transfer window. He doesn't want to waste time improving his squad's strength.
The Reds have brought in Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig to strengthen the defense while waiting for Virgil Van Dijk to recover. However, Klopp still eyeing other players.
In the report Mirror, Wednesday (23/6), Klopp plans to immediately release four of his players. Names like Xherdan Shaqiri, Divock Origi, Harry Wilson, and Neco Williams on the selling list.
Harry Wilson who has completed his season-long loan at Cardiff, planning to sign a permanent contract there.
While Origi and Shaqiri, reported not to be included in the main squad list in the long term. The positions of the two players are increasingly being shifted following the presence of Diogo Jota on the front lines.
Meanwhile for Neco Williams, he wants to find a challenge in a new place because he doesn't get regular flight hours. Klopp plays Trent Alexander-Arnold more often at left-back.
