Jakarta () – Marko Simic and Yann Motta scored two and one goal each in Persija's internal match which was held on Saturday (26/7) in Depok, West Java.
Quoted from Persija's official website in Jakarta, Sunday, at the match, Simic and Motta bring the Red team to victory 3-0 over the white team. Simic himself created one of his goals via a penalty kick.
The Red Team was strengthened by several core Persija players such as Simic and Riko Simanjuntak. While the White team is filled with names like Maman Abdurrahman and Braif Fatari.
Persija coach Angelo Alessio said that the match was important to see the extent of understanding the players' strategy ahead of the start of the League 1 Indonesia 2021-2022.
Although in some ways Alessio still sees some shortcomings from his foster children, The Italian tactician believes everything will improve with time.
“This match is an important test for the team to see how far our training progress has been. Hopefully the team will continue to improve with time and show a good game when the competition starts,” said the old man 56 that year.
